- Occupation: 1334, Southampton, England; Nicholas Sampson, the younger, was Bailiff of South- ampton in 1341. There was also a Nicholas Sampson, the elder. There is a difficulty with regard to Sampson, who was bailiff in 1334 and 1341, but apparently not in 1339
- Occupation: 1338, Southampton, England; Nicholas Sampson was Burgess and merchant of South- ampton in 1338
- Occupation: 24 Feb 1341, Southampton, England; 1341-Feb. 21. Norwich Richard Imbert and Nicholas Sampson the younger, in the port of Southampton and every place thence by the coast to Weymuth.
